Some of the most valuable kinds of traditional kilims are the Shahsavan kilims that are mostly produced in Shahsavan itself on the Iranian border. This region still has many people still living under the terms of traditional nomadic culture, and they’re using techniques that have been formed over hundreds of years to become a people that produce today some of the most valuable hand-woven work in the world.
